Faux Sure

Happy Holidays you guys! Christmas eve is here and I hope you have wonderful plans for today, tomorrow, and all weekend long! I can’t wait to over eat, and “pass a good time” as we southern folk say. 🙂 So I am a little ashamed to show this OOTD post to you because I am wearing something I never ever liked and thought I would be a part of! This fur vest trend has been around for close to 3 years I would say and every year I gagged at the sight of these furry things. But, I don’t know what came over me, this year I had a moment of weakness and caved. I bought a faux fur vest! And not only did I buy one, but I LOVE it. I may or may not actually be wearing it as I type.  It feels so cozy and I love the way it looks. Moral of the story I guess is never completely close your mind to new things that at first seem crazy. That rule of thumb can apply not only to fashion, but life in general. Never judge a book by its cover, and don’t bash something until you have tried it. Take a look…

  2. I was the same about fur things. It just seemed so corny couture, but It’s really starting to grow on me now. I never thought I’d say it. Check out my blog when you get the chance

    1. Thanks, I think the line between looking silly and chic is very fine in terms of faux fur, but the trend has really grown on me.

      1. The thing about it is it can either look really corny and try-hard or trendy and chic
