Hopes for Home

Happy Tuesday everyone.

You are going to have to forgive me, I have been in a kind of blah mood lately. It is probably due to having too much on my mind and schedule. As things are falling into place with our  dream house, I have been fantasizing on how I will fill it, decorate it, and of course paint it.

This past weekend, I went thrifting in the historic town of Grand Coteau, LA. That is pronounced “Coa-toe”. Crazy French words, hahaha, I know.

Although I did not find what I was really looking for, I still had a great time stepping back in time.

Looking at relics of the past is something I enjoy doing, even if I don’t buy anything.

photo 3-141It’s inspiring and such a fun way to pass time with loved ones. I shopped with my mother, sister, and grandmother.

Here are a few of the fabulous things I am dreaming of to fill up our home…
